St John on the Desert has engaging groups to join. Believers can grow their faith through the educational activities and ministries that we offer!

Wordseekers

provides Bible and book studies for adults.

Prayer Team

meets regularly to pray for the needs of the congregation and community.

Quilters Plus

provides prayer quilts for community members needing comfort. This group traditionally hosts an annual Craft Fair/Bake Sale to raise money for the Mission and Deacon Funds.

Desert Son-Rising Choral Group

provides music to the congregation. The Tanque Verde Valley Singers, a community choral group, has rehearsed at the church. The choral group has provided a Christmas performance at SJOTD each December and donated the proceeds to the Mission Team.
